Ok guys, here’s the plan for The Otties. We’re not just selling NFT’s we’re working on building a Franchise. Right now we have 3 sets planned: Founders set (500), Series 1 (4,500), and Series 2 (5,000). Each NFT purchase will include a t-shirt with the corresponding NFT you’ve bought. Here’s how the funds will be used though:
Founders Set (500) – Release Date March 16, 2022
These will go on sale to raise funds for the Series 1 set. As mentioned above, owners will get a t-shirt with their Ottie on it and have the option to buy additional shirts at a discount (like maybe for the kids or loved one?) as long as they go out at the same time. Basically, we’re saving on shipping so I can give you a break since they’re all going to the same place. Shirts will go out in batches as 10-15 NFT’s are sold so that no one is waiting around for too long to get their utility.
Series 1 Set (5,000) – Release Date: Expected Q3 2022
Once the Founders Set sells out the price will go up on the next 5,000 Otties. We will also be minting these on the ETH blockchain for which the funds will come from the Founders set to get proper smart contracts drawn up. 10% of the profits from this sale will also go towards an otter charity that we are still in the process of picking. We are also planning on purchasing land in the metaverse which any Ottie NFT holder will have the ability to enter and enjoy themselves in and continue to strengthen and build our community. This will also begin funding the creation of several kids books which include the Otties as the main characters. Series 1 owners will also receive a physical t-shirt IRL with their corresponding Ottie on it. Additional shirts will be available for purchase as well. Money from this set will also go towards making 3D digital versions of the Otties for the Series 2 set.
Series 2 Set (5,000) – Release Date: Expected Q4
The price on the Series 2 Otties will go up again in order to continue to bring value to our fans/supporters. Money from Series 1 will fund the creation of 3D digital Otties NFT’s, which means these are intended to be 3D-ified. You will receive a t-shirt with your Ottie on it, just like the previous sets. Assuming our metaverse land is already purchased you’ll have access to it along with the rest of your Ottie Friends. 10% of the profits from the sale of this set will also go towards an otter rescue/charity that has yet to be chosen. We will also use the stories created from the first set combined with money from this set to begin the creation of a cartoon series featuring the Otties!

We’ve got a few other surprises planned for the Otties that we’re not talking about here because we want to make sure that anyone that helps us out on this adventure feels like they’re definitely part of it.
